Kanbay's India delivery centers are located in Pune, Hyderabad and Chennai. Home to a large number of our associates and the bulk of our delivery capabilities, the India region is the cultural heart of Kanbay.
Kanbay's Pune campus is situated at Talwade amid vast, open spaces, green farms and rolling hills. Our center is a spacious, state-of-the-art facility with over 220,000 sq.ft. of office space, an onsite satellite earth station and dedicated communication links to key client sites. Our facility offers a 6,000 sq.ft. Learning and Development center and recreational facilities. Pune is about two hours from Mumbai and know for its cosmopolitan society, pleasant climate and good quality of life.
The Kanbay center in Hyderabad is based out of Madhapur, 10 km from the heart of the city and less than 20 minutes drive from most residential areas. In addition, we have a 15 acre campus in Nanakramguda, near the Indian School of Business, which was opened in early 2006. Located in the heart of the Deccan Plateau, the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad are the economic hub of the state of Andhra Pradesh. Today, these historic cities are leading centers for the information technology.
Chennai is our third India location and home to our Securities Center of Excellence. Centrally located on Haddows Road, Nungambakkam, Kanbay's Chennai center is in a key business district of the city. Formerly known as Madras, Chennai is the fourth largest metropolitan city of India, and has witnessed very high growth in the number of international IT and ITES companies setting up shop here. The city is also known as the Detroit of South Asia, owing to a large presence of international automobile companies. Situated in the southern part of India, Chennai is a coastal city with beautiful beaches of the Bay of Bengal forming the coastline. A city known for its rich heritage in Indian classical music and dance, it also boasts of hosting the Chennai Open, the only ATP Tennis event in the country.
