Kanbay CFO Bill Weissman Joins the National Board of Directors of AeA

Kanbay to Provide Insight on Innovation and Transformation

ROSEMONT, Ill., Dec 19, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Kanbay International, Inc., (Nasdaq: KBAY), a global IT services firm focused on providing solutions to the financial services industry, today announced that Bill Weissman, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Secretary of Kanbay, has joined the National Board of Directors of AeA (formerly known as the American Electronics Association), the largest non-profit trade association for the United States technology industry.

The AeA National Board is made up of 50 executives from AeA's 2,500 member companies. Together with other AeA National Board members, Mr. Weissman will provide guidance for AeA's success and strategic direction, and will specifically be part of the Board's Finance&Business Policy Committee. The Finance & Business Policy Committee seeks to promote favorable business conditions for technology companies through programs involving federal fiscal policy, equity debt markets, securities regulation, taxation (tax reform), accounting and corporate governance.

In addition to his AeA National Board membership, Mr. Weissman will also serve on the Midwest Council Executive Board of AeA to promote the Midwest as a region of excellence for technology innovation.
