ROSEMONT, Ill., Oct. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Kanbay International, Inc. (Nasdaq: KBAY) was added to the Russell 2000(R) Index on September 30 when the Russell Investment Group reconstituted its family of U.S. indexes. Membership in Russell indexes is determined solely by market capitalization of the companies. The Russell 2000(R) Index measures small-cap stocks and comprises the smallest 2,000 stocks in the Russell 3000(R) Index.
Russell indexes are widely used by investment managers and institutional investors for index funds and as benchmarks for both passive and active investment strategies.
