The firm is growing rapidly, organically and profitably and is seeking outstanding candidates at the MBA entry-level position of Senior Consultant. Senior Consultants work with clients:- Through all stages of management consulting engagements from insight generation to planning to potentially facilitating solution implementation
- Across all levels in a team environment to address client issues and the objectives of the consulting engagement
- To help identify and diagnose key client issues, assessing or modeling those issues, developing strategic and tactical solutions, and creating implementation plans as appropriate.
In addition, Senior Consultants perform research and frame, analyze and model client issues independently with senior-level guidance, synthesize facts in developing findings and solutions, develop reports and presentations, and communicate issues, findings, and recommendations on an ongoing basis.
Senior Consultants are hired into a management consulting industry practice, and engagements vary from revenue improvement to cost reduction efforts. Examples of the types of engagements include corporate and business level strategy, business model development and improvement, value-based marketing and operational strategy, supply chain analysis and management, and post-merger integration. In line with our efficient consulting model, all projects are focused on providing clients with a superior return on their deployed capital. Management consulting engagements require a balance of a number of skills and talents. Successful Senior Consultants possess outstanding intellectual ability, strong analytical skills, leadership and initiative, creativity, maturity, judgment, effective written and oral presentation skills, proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment, high energy level, professional integrity, and a relentless commitment to client satisfaction. Candidates for the Senior Consultant position should have:- An MBA or comparable masters degree from a top school
- 2-5 years of relevant industry or functional work experience showing progressive/promotion and academic achievement
- Relevant functional experience in strategy development, operations, marketing, finance and/or project management
- Prior consulting experience or client management experience either with a consulting firm or in industry for an internal consulting practice
- Superior oral and written communication skills
